Each production is a chance to inspire and create a new family of artists. What makes Phil smile as an artist is when he sees his work bleed from production to production. Things such as finding out that a young actress decided to take acting class after working on a show where Phil taught acting workshops, inspires him to push forward with his art no matter the obstacle. Currently he is a current student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) perusing a Bachelors in Theatre and Ancient Studies anticipated to graduate in the Spring. He is working towards learning more about the theater with such aspects as dramaturgy and writing. Phil has spent many years working with the community theatre company The Whitney Players who operate out of Hamden, CT. He was an adult teaching actor working with young actors ranging from 5 to 17 as well as other adult actors. Selected credits with The Whitney Players include Phineas Trout in Willy Wonky and the Chocolate Factory and Diesel in West Side Story.
